Welcome to Dunedin Guest House
Situated in the historic town of Huntly in the midst of the magnificent Aberdeenshire countryside, Dunedin Guesthouse is one of the region’s real treasures.
Offering unsurpassed hospitality and the highest standards in every area, Dunedin feels like a home from home.
Our hosts Keith and Christine Best aim for you to arrive as visitors and leave as friends.
We are located in Aberdeenshire, in the centre of Huntly, and Dunedin Guesthouse is only a 5-minute walk from the railway station, which means there is a lot of Scotland on our doorstep, including the Cairngorms National Park.
Bed and Breakfast
We also cater for those who have a coeliac (gluten-free diet) – so if you require this for your breakfast, then this can be easily accommodated.
There are all sorts of people who like to holiday with us, including adventure types, history buffs, or those wanting to just get away for a bit.
The town’s most famous site is Huntly Castle, which was originally built in the 12th century.
It was visited by Robert the Bruce in 1307 and after it was destroyed by fire, it was restored and rebuilt by the Earl of Huntly after 1452.
